My personal thoughts on Yoga & on Therapeutic Yoga:
If you can breathe, you can do yoga. The way we share our yoga practice, every “body” can do yoga. It’s not about the poses. It’s about making the poses feel good in your body. Moving within your range of motion. Letting go of built up tension, which hides in all corners of the body, and shows up as pain and discomfort. It’s about moving and living with greater functional ease. We don’t wait to be “flexible” to start practicing. Yoga asks us to show up to the mat, and begin wherever we are.
Working alongside your physician or your mental health professional, you can use therapeutic yoga as a complementary therapy to help you along your path to physical, mental, emotional wellness.
