Working in senior wellness is rewarding — but let’s be honest, it’s also stressful. As staff and other caregivers, you’re constantly holding space for others while juggling emotional, mental, and physical demands. Over time, that stress can take a toll on your body and mind.
At Yoga with Dorit, I offer Therapeutic Yoga for Anxiety — a calming, body-based practice designed to release tension, soothe the nervous system, and build resilience from the inside out.
This isn’t about flexibility or perfect poses. It’s about creating space in the body to calm the anxious mind, move through the overwhelm of our day-to-day, and reconnect with a deep sense of inner steadiness.
For Staff and Caregivers:
I offer classes and workshops to help regulate your nervous systems, reduce burnout, and restore energy — all in a gentle, accessible, trauma-informed way.
For Seniors:
Therapeutic yoga sessions can be done seated, lying down, or standing, so that it’s accessible to all. I like to say that “if you breathe, you can do yoga”. Sessions are designed to address chronic stress, grief, and nervous system dysregulation in older adults.
